“Insya-Allah, the prime minister will attend the celebration in all states, together with their menteris besar and chief ministers,” he said at the Prime Minister’s Office daily briefing, which was streamed live on Anwar Ibrahim and PMO Malaysia’s Facebook pages today.

Nashrul said the prime minister also invited all Malaysians to come together and celebrate noble values and the spirit of love, respect and goodwill that have been the pillar of Malaysia's strength for so long.

“The event is also an important platform to celebrate the differences and ease any racial and religious tensions among the people,” he said.
