The police are investigating the case of a salesperson from the Mixue drinks chain who was cursed at by a customer.
Shah Alam district police chief Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said a female salesperson was recently cursed at by a male customer at the Mixue outlet in Central i-City, Shah Alam, Selangor.
The suspect allegedly had a misunderstanding with the victim after she asked him for a 50 sen coin during his payment due to not having enough coins in the cash register.
He allegedly taunted her, leading her to close the cash register loudly. The suspect then allegedly used abusive and insulting words against her.

He left after her colleagues intervened, but did not complete his purchase.
“Further investigation by the police found that the victim had sent a CCTV recording of the shop to family members, causing an irresponsible individual to spread the recording on the social media site TikTok,” said Iqbal in a statement.
He said the victim lodged a police report yesterday at 8.42pm over the incident.
He added that the case is being investigated under Sections 504 and 509 of the Penal Code.
Section 504 punishes intentional insults with a jail sentence of up to two years or a fine or both. Section 509 criminalises the use of words or gestures to insult a person’s modesty with imprisonment up to five years, a fine, or both.
Iqbal said the video leak is also being investigated under Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act 1955, which punishes threatening behaviour with a fine not more than RM100. - Mkini
