Kapit police chief Rohana Nanu said the boy had boarded a bus at Kuching Sentral at about 9.30pm on March 25 and arrived in Kapit at 8am the following day, Dayak Daily reported.
He had reportedly hid between the seats, going unnoticed by the bus driver and passengers throughout the journey.
Rohana said the boy was found by members of the public at the Kapit bus terminal and brought to the district police headquarters.
“He admitted that he boarded the bus of his own accord, believed to be due to his curious and hyperactive nature,” she was quoted as saying.
His parents arrived at the Kapit police station at 12.45am to pick the boy up. The case has since been classified as no further action. - FMT
