
Rodziah, a central committee member, said based on her experience of over 20 years, is optimistic that she would be able to spur the wing to greater heights.
“I am also confident that this contest between sisters would not split the party,” she said at a Women’s Day event here.
Last week, Rodziah, who is the Ampang MP, said she was considering making another run for the post of Wanita PKR chief, stating that the wing had become “lethargic”.
Rodziah claimed that numerous party members had asked her to lead the women’s wing.
In the 2022 party elections, Rodziah lost to Fadhlina Sidek by 32 votes. Fadhlina received 18,923 votes, while Rodziah garnered 18,891.
Rodziah also said she would defend her position as Shah Alam division chief.
PKR is scheduled to hold division-level elections from April 11-20, with the central leadership elections taking place on May 24. - FMT
