Shafie Mohamad claims trial to all five charges before Kota Bharu sessions court judge Zulkifli Abllah.
Shafie Mohamad, 47, pleaded not guilty when all the charges were read to him before judge Zulkifli Abllah, Harian Metro reported.
For the first to third charges, Shafie is accused of committing sexual assault and unnatural intercourse involving one of the students.
The offences were allegedly committed at a hotel in Kota Bharu and in the bedroom of a house in Kampung Tok Berlian, Bachok, in June last year and in April and Sept 17 this year.
On the fourth charge, the accused allegedly sexually assaulted another student at a house in Kampung Tok Berlian in mid-August.
For the fifth charge, Shafie is accused of sexually assaulting a different 17-year-old boy at the same house on Aug 26 at 6pm.
The charges were framed under Section 14(d) of the Sexual Offences Act and Section 377B of the Penal Code.
Shafie was represented by Nurul Samhana Aidenan, while the prosecution was handled by deputy public prosecutor Siti Arina Razali.
The accused was allowed bail at RM23,000 with one surety and ordered not to tamper with the victims and witnesses, provide the court with a permanent address, and report to a nearby police station twice a month pending the conclusion of the case.
The court fixed Nov 10 for remention of the case. - FMT
