NAJIB SHOUTS & PUSHES POLICE OFFICER WHO TRIED TO SHIELD HIM FROM OVER-ENTHUSIASTIC STUDENT – BUT HIS OPPORTUNISTIC BID TO SEEM LIKE A HERO BACKFIRES: STUDENT GRILLS HIM ABOUT HIS TRIAL, SAYS ‘THIS CASE INVOLVES THE PEOPLE’S MONEY’

NAJIB Razak pushed and shouted at a police officer who tried stop a youth who approached him outside the court after proceedings this evening.
The former prime minister shouted “Biar! Biar dia tanya lah!” (“Leave him be! Let him ask!”) at the officer, while pushing away his arm.
The officer had tried to pull the youth away from Najib by holding his shoulders and backpack.
Najib was also seen holding the young man’s hand who said: “Datuk Seri, I just want to ask you some questions.”

Najib immediately apologised to the police officer saying, “I’m sorry. He wants to ask me (questions).” The officer nodded.
The young man had approached Najib to ask him questions about the trial but the former prime minister told him he could not give any comment.
“Ask the court. It’s not in my authority (to answer),” Najib said before getting into his black Proton Perdana.
Speaking to reporters later, the young man said he wanted to attend the proceedings as it was of public interest.
“This case involves the people’s money. Why do I, as a member of the public, have to go through so many procedures to watch the trial?”
He said that he was not allowed in at first, but later managed to obtain a pass from court officers to get into the video link room.
Najib was in the Kuala Lumpur High Court today for day four of his SRC International trial.
