JOHOR BARU: Outgoing Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Osman Sapian has concluded his audience with Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar at Istana Pasir Pelangi here.
During the meeting which lasted about 50 minutes, Osman informed His Majesty about his resignation as Mentri Besar.
Osman arrived at Istana Pasir Pelangi at around 9.05am in a black car and left the palace grounds at around 9.55am on Saturday (April 13).
Also present at the meeting was Johor state secretary Datuk Azmi Rohani.
On Monday (April 8), Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad announced that Osman has tendered his resignation letter to him.- Star
