CORONAVIRUS | Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz (HCTM) in Kuala Lumpur announced another death related to Covid-19, bringing the total number of fatalities in Malaysia to 11.
According to an internal circular by HCTM director Dr Hanafiah Harunarashid sighted by Malaysiakini, the 70-year-old victim succumbed to the illness last night.
The man was admitted on March 18 after developing cough and fever.
"The patient had a history of heart problem and hypertension. He was put on a ventilator after his condition worsened,” stated the circular.
