GEORGE TOWN: A fruit stall in Foyer B of Penang Hospital has been cordoned off after a worker tested positive for Covid-19.
A notice by the Health Ministry states that the stall will be closed until further notice for preventive maintenance.
It is learnt that the employee tested positive on Monday (Nov 23).
An internal memo from Penang Hospital stated that those who had visited the booth from Nov 16 to Nov 19 were required to undergo Covid-19 infection risk assessment to control the possible spread of the disease among its staff. - Star
