KOTA BARU: The Kelantan Health Department has denied issuing a notice to implement Conditional Movement Order (CMCO) effective tomorrow.
The Kelantan Health Department director Datuk Dr Zaini Hussin said the message, alleging the said CMCO had gone viral today.
"The message claims the CMCO will be implemented in Kelantan beginning Nov 17 and so-called agreed by the National Security Council (NSC).
"It also claimed the decision has been made following increasing Covid-19 cases in the state.
"The Health Department and NSC, however, have never reached such decision. I hope for the public will not be taken in by the fake news," Dr Zaini said in a statement today. - NST
