Putrajaya has appointed another three members to the Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission (EAIC).
The trio comprises former top civil servant Mahmood Adam, former Federal Court judges Aziah Ali and Alizatul Khair Othman Khairuddin.
Their appointment takes effect on Nov 1.
They will be joining former top civil servant Mohd Sidek Hassan (chairperson), former Federal Court judge Zainun Ali (deputy chairperson), former High Court judge John Louis O'Hara and former law professor Nik Ahmad Kamal Nik Mahmod.
The earlier batch of EAIC commissioners was appointed in June.
The EAIC was formed in 2009 as a complaints mechanism for all enforcement agencies.
Under Section 22(3) of the Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission Act 2009, the commission can refer cases of criminal nature to the public prosecutor.
It is uncertain if any of such cases have resulted in a conviction thus far. - Mkini
