BUDGET 2021 | Civil servants will be receiving RM600 in a special financial aid early next year under Budget 2021.
This is in lieu of a bonus for civil servants.
The aid, limited for those at Grade 56 and below, is an increase from the RM500 given in 2019 and this year.
In 2018, the payout was RM1,000, and it was RM500 in 2016 and 2017.
Pensioners and army veterans without pensions will, meanwhile, receive RM300 in special aid.
The government will also award a RM500 one-off aid to 100,000 frontliners from the Health Ministry.
The RM600 Covid-19 monthly special allowance for Health Ministry frontliners will also be continued. - Mkini
