PETALING JAYA: The prices of RON97, RON95 and diesel will increase across the board from Nov 14 to Nov 20.
The Finance Ministry said that RON97 petrol would be priced at RM1.92 per litre, up by one sen from RM1.91 per litre previously.
The price of RON95 petrol will also increase by one sen from RM1.61 per litre to RM1.62 per litre.
The price of diesel will increase six sen from RM1.68 per litre to RM1.74 per litre.
"The government will continue to monitor the trends of global crude oil prices and take appropriate measures to ensure the continued welfare and well-being of the people," the ministry said in a statement on Friday (Nov 13).
The weekly fuel pricing mechanism was reintroduced on Jan 5,2019, under the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM).
Under this system, fuel prices are announced every Friday and remain in force for one week. - Star
