GEORGE TOWN: A woman was arrested for allegedly injuring her friend's penis on Friday (Nov 13).
The 38-year-old suspect was arrested in Paya Terubong on Friday (Nov 13) at about 9am after a report was lodged over the incident.
George Town OCPD Asst Comm Soffian Santong said that the 47-year-old victim alerted the police at 7.55am after claiming his penis was injured by the woman.
"The victim said the suspect, whom he knew, came to his office at about 6.30am and both of them took drugs.
"After a while, the victim passed out, only to find his penis bloodied and his female friend gone," he said in a statement on Friday (Nov 14).
ACP Soffian said the victim, who used to work as a photographer, suffered an incision wound but the injury was not serious.
He said the victim was likely injured by a sharp object and had been warded for treatment.
He has a record of psychiatric treatment at the Penang Hospital.
Police confiscated several items, including a pair of scissors believed to have been used to injure the victim, from the scene.
The suspect who has three counts of drug offence tested positive for methamphetamine.
The case is being investigated under Section 324 of the Penal Code for causing hurt. - Star
