
PETALING JAYA: The health ministry reported 12 Covid-19 deaths yesterday, according to its GitHub database, down from 15 previously.
There were no brought-in-dead (BID) cases.
The death toll now stands at 31,750.
Sabah topped the list of fatalities with 3, followed by Johor and Pahang (2) and Kelantan, Negeri Sembilan, Penang, Terengganu and Kuala Lumpur (1 each).
There were no deaths in the other states and federal territories.
As of midnight, there were 40,276 active cases, including 198 in intensive care units (ICU), 93 of whom require respiratory assistance.
There were also 3,292 recoveries reported.
The total number of Covid-19 cases recorded in Malaysia stands at 2,798,917. - FMT
