PETALING JAYA: Home vaccinations are being offered to elderly people who are unable to get to vaccination centres to receive their booster dose.
ProtectHealth Corporation said today the home vaccination is a government initiative to speed up and expand coverage of booster dose vaccinations to ensure a national transition to the endemic phase of the Covid-19 outbreak from April 1.
People who do not obtain their booster doses by March 31 will lose their full vaccination privileges.
ProtectHealth chief executive officer Anas Alam Faizli said the elderly should obtain their booster dose as soon as possible. “Those who have been boosted by April 1 will notice their vaccination certificate on MySejahtera turn white,” he said.Registration for home vaccinations can be made by telephone to 1700-811-007 from March 28 or by texting +6012 2678 7911 via WhatsApp, or via the ProtectHealth website or the help desk option in the MySejahtera app. - FMT
