MUST LISTEN : GEORGE YEO SPEAKING IN SAUDI ARABIA

 

A fantastic speech. Brigadier General (Ret) George Yeo is a graduate of Harvard Business School, he was Singapore's Foreign Minister for some time and is still in the pool of extremely talented men and women who run Singapore.

But what he says about Saudi Arabia's great Vision 2030 plan is just buttering up the Saudis to make it easier for Singaporean companies to get a bite at some of the US$500 Billion the Saudis are throwing into that insane and ridiculous Neom Line City in the desert project.

 

The Line City has begun construction already. The city will be 1,600 feet tall, 650 feet wide and 105 miles long. When you thought that these folks were already dumber than dumb they can still hit you with more dumb. It is not unbelievable anymore - how dumb they can get. Robert Morris of the More Freedom Foundation feels that there may not be a "Saudi" Arabia beyond 2030. 

So Temasek Holdings take note. This is a society that can be annihilated by just one bullet.

But George Yeo does not dwell on that too much. His real message is about China in the future and about Islam and Muslims. 

George Yeo says that in another 10 years China will be militarily very far ahead of everyone especially the U.S.  

Also that China's per capita GDP is only one quarter of the US per capita GDP (OSTB : Yet China is already surpassing the US as the world's largest economy). 

By the time the Chinese per capita GDP reaches half  the level of the US, the entire Chinese economy will also be about TWO TIMES the size of the US economy. Imagine when China reaches parity per capita GDP with the US! The Chinese economy will be four to five times bigger than the US.

The future is China - without a doubt.  

George Yeo also says that by 2050, half the babies born in the world everyday will be Muslim babies.  How should the world (including Muslims) react to this prospect? 

George Yeo's point about Islam is therefore critical - the rest of the world (the non Muslim part) should start to get a better understanding of Islam. My view is so should the Muslims.
