GENTING HIGHLANDS: Seven people have died after a tour van crashed here on Wednesday (Feb 8) afternoon.
A spokesperson from the Genting Highlands Fire Station said they were alerted about the accident at around 1.15pm on Wednesday.
"We immediately dispatched a fire engine and six firemen to the scene and they arrived about 15 minutes later.
"The accident occurred when a tour van crashed into the divider," he said.
He said a total of 14 people were in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
"Firemen arrived at the scene and began extricating the victims from the vehicle," he said. - Star
