66 Years After Merdeka Still Dont Know How To Flush The Toilet. Masih Bersaikoloji "Cebuk Dalam Sungai".

I agree with that parent who wrote that letter in the early 1990s (THIRTY YEARS AGO NAUZUBILLAH!! NOTHING HAS CHANGED IN 30 YEARS !!) that he did not send his child to school to wash the toilet.

Washing toilets is indeed the job of the janitors. The janitor washes the toilet.

The main lesson you can learn from looking at the janitor doing his job is that if you do not catch up with your neighbours you too will become a janitor. Since many janitors in our country are Indonesians it is another lesson learnt that if you do not know how to develop your own people and your own country then your citizens will end up becoming janitors in other peoples countries. INGAT BAIK-BAIK OK.

We teach our children to use the toilet properly and to keep the toilets clean at home. It is the duty of the parents to teach their children basic hygiene. If you have a toilet at home you should teach your kids how to use the toilet and how to keep it clean. Before they can do that the parents themselves have to know how to use the toilets properly and how to keep the toilets at home super clean.

(While we are on the subject let me share a simple trick that will keep your toilet bowls super clean and super white with no scrubbing and minimal effort. At night just before you sleep, or just before you leave for work in the morning, pour a small cup of bleach (chlorox) into your toilet bowl and let it soak. When you wake up in the morning or return home from work in the evening the toilet bowl will be sparkly white. If you do it every day the amount of bleach required will be much less. Bleach breaks down quickly too.)

But I can tell you first hand stories of university students in student housing who shit in the toilet and then DO NOT FLUSH. They just get up and walk off !!

I dont know what is wrong with these folks and their toilet hygiene. They seem to have a phobia against keeping toilets clean. They seem to prefer having shit all over the place. I have said this before : this is a job for the psychologists and the psychiatrists. There is something terribly wrong with the upbringing.

Or more simply there is still an inability to adapt to a modern, urban way of thinking and living.  Dont the bears shit in the woods?

Ok lets not lose focus. That parent wrote that letter about washing toilets 30 years ago in the 1990s. This is the 21st century now. It is 2023. So what happened to all the billions spent on religious education, religious tv broadcasting, chasing after the LGBTs, manufacturing hundreds of thousands of religious teachers and building thousands of masjids and suraus?

Despite all that money spent and all the religious aggravation caused in the country the people still do not know how to use a toilet properly. The toilets in the schools (and universities) are literally plastered with shit. And while you are at it you should see the toilets in some of the masjids and the suraus.

I have a thought - why not ask the tok imam, siak, bilal and the jawatankuasa masjid folks to also take turns to wash the toilets. It is not just school toilets that are dirty.

Sometime ago there were many complaints about dirty toilets at the airports. Hello Chairman of Malaysia Airports. Do you have a mop in your office? Ada chlorox tak?

Yes we should clean the toilets everyday.

But more importantly when are our citizenry going to stop messing up the toilets? Everywhere - the school toilets, university toilets, masjid toilets, airport toilets, toilets in the office etc.

The culture has not changed. Bears shit in the woods.
