In 2023 China's medium haul, C919 single aisle passenger jet with 190-220 seat capacity has begun commercial operations, 16 years after development first began in 2007.
The next planes in the series would the C929 with 250-320 seats and the C939 with 350-390 seats. The C929 was unveiled at the Paris Air Show.
However in this video here the Chinese are said to have surprised everyone by showing advanced plans for a wide body, long haul jet in the C939 category. Such a design would be in the Airbus A380 category.
Once again the Chinese are able to leap frog their scientific and technological advancement. Here is a quick video:
