• I instruct ulamas, muftis, Jakim to be in line with ‘current developments’
• Jakim bigger role, it never had before, in govt policy based on Madani
• Jakim was limited to preaching, organising recital competitions
• little role drafting 12th M'sia Plan,  Budget, reforming govt he said
