10 Negeri Sembilan reps take oath as state exco members

 The 10 comprise eight assemblymen from BN and two from PN.

Chennah assemblyman Siow Kong Choon, Lenggeng assemblyman Asna Amin and Serting assemblyman Fairuz Isa are among the 10 appointed as Negeri Sembilan executive councillors.

PETALING JAYA:

Ten state assemblymen have been appointed to the Negeri Sembilan executive council, comprising eight representatives from Barisan Nasional (BN) and two from Perikatan Nasional (PN).

The BN appointees are Mustapha Nagoor (Palong), Faizal Ramli (Linggi), Zaiful Bahri Idris (Chembong), Razi Ali (Sungai Lui), Asna Amin (Lenggeng), Siti Nur Umaira Hasim (Labu), Suhaimizan Bizar (Gemencheh) and Siow Kong Choon (Chennah).

Meanwhile, the PN assemblymen appointed as excos are Fairuz Isa (Serting) and Razali Abu Samah (Sikamat).

The appointment letters were presented by the Yang Dipertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir, at Istana Besar Seri Menanti this morning.

Menteri besar Ismail Lasim, the Juasseh assemblyman from BN, was also present at the ceremony.

Together, BN and PN secured 25 of the 36 seats in the state assembly, enabling them to form the new state government. - FMT
