Out to test Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd (KTMB)'s sincerity, PAS Youth has invited Pakatan Rakyat members and supporters to put up their party flags at KTM Komuter stations.
In a statement today, PAS Youth information chief Ridhuan Mohd Nor said the flags should be raised in Selangor KTM Komuter stations where BN flags are already in place.
"To prove that KTMB is really open, Pakatan Rakyat must raise flags in the same Komuter stations and KTMB must ensure Pakatan component party flags are not sabotaged," he said.
Ridhuan was responding to a directive from KTMB chairperson Mohd Zin Mohamed, who is also BN Selangor coordinator, for BN flags to be raised at Komuter stations in the state.

BN flags already up
Mohd Zin later denied that he had ever issued such a directive but said he supported the idea, as long as the flags did not obstruct the trains and any safety signals.

Several stations in Selangor were since yesterday spottedwith BN flags hoisted.
"KTM Komuter stations are public areas. It is unreasonable to put up BN flags there while Pakatan flags are not allowed. Let the stations be free for all political parties," Ridhuan said.
He also invited KTMB staff to openly support Pakatan and hang up Pakatan flags at the stations.
"If action is taken against the staff, then it will be proven that KTMB cannot control BN's influence in the company, that BN controls political affiliations of the staff," he said.
Only "despotic regimes" would force civil servants and those working for federal agencies into supporting them, Ridhuan added.
