Lawyer Tommy Thomas is the kind of lawyer we often bum into at the Selangor Club or at one of the pubs in Bangsar. They talk and brag too much after a few drinks.
These are the types who run down their Tamil brothers, by saying they are not Indians.
You don’t want to hear what they said about the Indian-Muslims and Malays. They think they are cleverer and smarter than the Tamil speaking Indians and Mamaks.
They condemned others for being racists but they are worse racists.
These are the types who would be extremely happy if they have a Mat Salleh wife or a Chinese wife to show off as a trophy.
Like Tommy Thomas, they have benefitted greatly from this country but they have nothing good to say about Malaysia.
Like Tommy Thomas, with his Porches and horses, he thinks it’s all his pure brilliance, forgetting it is the environment here that has helped him make his piles of money.
