PASIR GUDANG: MCA Pasir Gudang division members lodged a police report today against a Facebook user, who is the assistant of a state assemblyman, for the alleged posting of an anti-Islamic festive greeting.
Its deputy information chief, Tan Tuan Peng, said the report was lodged against Alan Tang for his greeting on Facebook which read: "Selamat Hari Raya Buat Semua Nikmatilah Hidangan Kepala Khinzir Bersama Ketupat" (Selamat Hari Raya To All Enjoy This Pig Head With Ketupat).
Tan alleged that this was not the first time Tang had made such postings.
"Before this, Tang had also posted in his status that the Tionghua Association had wasted the rakyat's money to build a stage.
"We are lodging the report because we want the police to carry out a probe on the matter," he said.
Tan lodged the police report at the Seri Alam police station with 10 other members at 9.30am.
