Zuraida: Looks like NFC chief has awoken from long sleep

The police report lodged by National Feedlot Corporation (NFC) chairperson Mohamad Salleh Ismail against Ampang MP Zuraida Kamaruddin and Pandan MP Rafizi Ramli appears to have come after Salleh had awoken from a long sleep.

Zuraida noted that Salleh's police reports came after the case against Salleh had progressed to the effect that the prosecution had levelled criminal breach of trust charges against him.

NONE"It is like he had just woken up. He is backtracking and it is better that he puts in more time to defend himself (in the criminal charge).

"Whether it is the National Feedlot Centre or National Feedlot Corporation, it is all directed to him. I find this attempt (Salleh's police reports) ridiculous and irrelevant," Zuraida said in an immediate response to Malaysiakini.

Salleh is facing two charges of criminal breach of trust and two other charges under the Companies Act 1984.

Zuraida was commenting on Salleh's revelation that he had lodgedseparate police reports against her and Rafizi for slander over attributing the comments made in the Auditor-General's Report on the National Feedlot Centre to the NFC, resulting in investigations into the company.

Salleh said the revelations by the two opposition MPs had resulted in the accounts of his company to be frozen.
