Is this 'third force' Umno's second wing?

YOURSAY | ' If Ikatan wants to support Umno they might as well just join it.'
Ablastine: We should encourage Parti Ikatan Bangsa Malaysia (Ikatan) president Abdul Kadir Sheikh Fadzir and PAS president Hadi Abdul Awang to continue with their liaison for good reasons.
For one, no opposition votes will go to them anyway and the only achievement they can ever boast about, will be to take some from BN.
The more support and help they give to Premier Najib Abdul Razak and his controllers to stay in power, the more damage they will do to BN, something which former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has alluded to. So just let events play out. 2018 is not really that far away.
Anonymous 2402521456737582: “If it’s not two-thirds, then at least almost two-thirds of MPs support BN to continue being the government, this means almost two-thirds of the rakyat throughout the country support BN," he said.
Abdul Kadir, have you heard of gerrymandering?
This "multiracial pact" had better explain Abdul Kadir's hudud position - by next week. So Ikatan is another BN component party, I see. So PAS is also a de facto BN party now.
“God willing, we will meet the prime minister and other ministers. We will give suggestions to solve the problems faced by the rakyat,” he said. And you'll crawl back into cabinet? Your motive's showing.
Take our first PM Tunku Abdul Rahman's image off your party logo. Did you get the family's permission?
Thana55: Rigged elections do not give a strong mandate. What are you smoking, Abdul Kadir?
Odysseus: BN doesn't have two-thirds majority in the Parliament, so how can he assume two-thirds of the MPs support Najib? Does he know what is two-thirds?
Basically: Wow, just weeks into shaking hands with PAS and he's talking like Hadi now. This fellow doesn't know how to count, for one. 47 percent of votes for BN isn't “close to two thirds”.
Besides, the 47 percent probably includes those cybertroopers trolling here, and after deducting these and the postal votes and BN members, how many real voters are left?
Mushiro: The fact of the matter is BN has less that two-thirds support in Parliament and only 48 percent of the rakyat's support. That was three years ago before 1MDB blew up. Today, it is a different story. Najib does not dare to take a referendum and avoids the press like a leper.
Mojo Jojo: I see why PAS is an ally of Ikatan - they sing the same tune. Here we have another alumnus of CMU, also known as 'Cari Makan University.'
Shamu99: Is this joker Opposition or pro-BN? He is talking rubbish. Even people who supported BN are backing off.
Kit P: I simply fail to see what is the whole point of Ikatan's existence. If they want to support Umno they might as well just join it.
Lamps: In the end, they only want to be advisers to Umno. To be advisers, there is no need to win elections. PAS is going to lose big time in the next GE.
Restless: Looks like this third force and Ikatan 's alignment with PAS is another of Umno's chess moves to split the opposition's votes.
A bona fide opposition will capitalise on the RM2.6bil and not offer such compromising views like you. Before you even start, you have damaged your own branding.
Senior Citizen: Najib is involved in the scandal of the century and he cannot even give any facts to show that he is innocent. The rakyat expected him to explain the alleged scandals but he really disappointed the rakyat with his “hiding and avoiding" tactics.
Therefore he is not fit to continue as PM anymore. It is a disgrace to the country and the rulers of Malaysia.
尔捷: Interesting views, Abdul Kadir. Give your views on the RM2.6 billion issue and the recent PAS election. Then we can understand more on how you analyse.
Appum: So this guy Abdul Kadir left Umno because of money politics. So now he supports Umno, also because of money politics? I can't see it in any other way.
Dex: Pak Kadir, why did you form Ikatan in the first place? And by the way, who are the high profile multiracial members of your party that you talk about?
Headhunter: Ikatan is going to be as useful as a pogo stick. It's a failure even before it can begin.
RCZ: A government must enjoy the support of the rakyat and this one does not. Ikatan can carry on talking but zero plus zero equals zero.
Maplesyrup: Very clear now that this 'third force' is actually Umno's second wing. -Mkini
