REALLY, NAJIB – THEN WHY THE FIRE SALES OF NATIONAL ASSETS TO CHINA: MALAYSIA NOT GOING BANKRUPT, NAJIB INSISTS
KUALA LUMPUR – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak today lambasted the Opposition for continuing to claim that Malaysia will go bankrupt.
He said the Opposition and their supporters, since 2009, had been harping on the claim that Malaysia will become bankrupt under the Barisan Nasional government.
“The fact is that every year, we have increased BR1M payments from RM500 in 2012 to RM1,050 this year and the criteria of those qualified to receive BR1M has been expanded to allow more to receive the benefit, “ he said in a Facebook posting today.
“Wait for the 2017 Budget for the announcement on BR1M and other initiatives,” he said.
Najib who is also Finance Minister, will table the 2017 Budget proposals at 4pm, at Parliament House tomorrow.
