The two-day 258th Conference of Rulers meeting initially slated for tomorrow has been postponed to Oct 27, according to the Office of the Keepers of the Rulers’ Seal.
The Conference of Rulers was supposed to hold a meeting with menteris besar and chief ministers on June 28, along with pre-council meetings on June 29.
According to the website of the Office of the Keepers of the Rulers’ Seal, the 259th Conference of Rulers meeting will be held on Oct 27 and 28 while the pre-council meeting will be held one day earlier.
The meeting with the menteris besar and chief ministers will be held on Oct 25.
The last time the Conference of Rulers met was during a special discussion with Yang di-Pertuan Agong at Istana Negara on June 16.
That was after the king met with Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin and all party leaders from June 9 to 15 to hear their views on various issues ahead of the ongoing nationwide emergency that will expire on Aug 1. - Mkini
