PETALING JAYA: The Perak state assembly will sit for four days from Aug 25 onwards.
The Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Shah, has given his consent for the state assembly to reconvene, menteri besar Saarani Mohamad said today, according to Bernama.
Perak joins Selangor, Johor and Negeri Sembilan in seeing their state assemblies reconvening, while Melaka, Penang, Sabah and Pahang have either fixed the dates for the sittings or are awaiting consent from their Rulers or governors.
Selangor’s state assembly will reconvene on Aug 23, while Johor and Negeri Sembilan will have proceedings starting from the first week of August. - FMT
