PETALING JAYA: Pejuang and Warisan say they have signed statutory declarations (SDs) against Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin, which have been sent to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
Pejuang information chief Ulya Aqamah Husamudin told Sinar Harian that all MPs from his party sent their SDs to the King yesterday evening.
In a tweet, Warisan Youth chief Azis Jamman also said the party had informed the King of its stance against the prime minister.
“Warisan also confirms this matter. We have signed (SDs) and sent them to the Agong,” he wrote.
It was previously reported that the opposition had sent SDs to the King, rejecting Muhyiddin as prime minister.
According to a Sinar Harian source within the opposition bloc, this involved all 105 MPs from Pejuang, DAP, PKR, Warisan, Parti Sarawak Bersatu, MUDA and Amanah, and Maszlee Malik, who is an independent. - FMT
