PETALING JAYA: PKR vice-president Chia Tian Chang, better known as Tian Chua, and four Muda leaders will be questioned at the Dang Wangi district police headquarters tomorrow over the Lawan rally held on Saturday.
The four Muda leaders are party co-founder Amir Abd Hadi, vice-president Dr Thanussha Francis Xavier, and exco members Teo Lee Ken and Dr Mathen Nair.
Their statements will be taken at noon.
Inspector-General of Police Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani had said yesterday that 29 people from Saturday’s protest rally in Kuala Lumpur would be called in, while several others were being identified through video recordings and photos.
Acryl Sani said police monitoring the assembly found incidents in which the organisers and participants “clearly went against SOPs” set out in the National Recovery Plan and Covid-19 regulations. - FMT
