PETALING JAYA: Seven localities in Sabah, Pahang and Kelantan will go under an enhanced movement control order (EMCO) from Sept 15 to Sept 28 following a spike in Covid-19 cases in these areas.
The National Security Council said the localities are:
Sabah
- Fu Yee factory in Brantian, Kalabakan.
- Kampung Rugading in Kota Marudu.
- Kampung Warisan in Kota Kinabalu.
- Rumah Pangsa Tanjung Aru in Kota Kinabalu.
Pahang
- Kampung Paya Pelong in Kerdau, Temerloh.
Kelantan
- Kampung Bendang Pak Yong and Kampung Simpangan in Tumpat.
The EMCOs in Kampung Lotong in Kota Marudu, Sabah, and Kampung Temalian in Raub, Pahang, have been extended two more weeks to Sept 28. It was supposed to end tomorrow.
There was relief for five villages in Sabah and Kelantan, with the EMCOs on these localities ending after Sept 14, as scheduled.
They are:
Sabah
- Kampung Hidayat, Tawau.
- Kampung Penangah, Tongod.
Kelantan
- Kampung Lata Tual, Kampung Tok Uban and Kampung Kubang Kerian in Kuala Krai. - FMT
