
PETALING JAYA: The Pakatan Harapan (PH) presidential council has announced six new appointments in the opposition coalition which includes DAP organising secretary Loke Siew Fook as chief whip in the Dewan Rakyat.
The other appointments are:
- PH secretary-general – Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, who is PKR secretary-general;
- Youth leader – Howard Lee Chuan How, the DAP Youth chief;
- Women’s wing chief – Aiman Athirah Al Jundi of Amanah, replacing Chong Eng of DAP.
- Strategy director – Salahuddin Ayub, who is Amanah deputy president;
- Communications director – Fahmi Fadzil, who is PKR communications chief.
The presidential council hoped the appointments would further strengthen the coalition’s work in Parliament, in the field as well as the 15th general election.
