Govt ready to hold GE15 if PN withdraws support, says Ismail

 

Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the government is ready to call for a general election under any circumstances if Perikatan Nasional pulls out.

SERDANG: The government is prepared to hold the next general election (GE15) if Perikatan Nasional (PN) withdraws its support for the administration, says Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

“If the (PN) support is withdrawn, then the general election must be called,” he told reporters at the launch of the 2022 Malaysian Agriculture, Horticulture and Agro Tourism Exhibition (MAHA 2022) here today.
