Tabung Haji (TH) today confirmed that the consultancy fees for the consortium for its branding work amount to RM5.9 million over a three-year period.
TH said the fees cover research and market studies, brand audit, planning, public relations, and internal culture-building training.
“To date, RM1.6 million has been paid according to the payment schedule,” TH said in a statement.
TH also stressed that no other contracts or appointments have been made in relation to the initiative.
“TH remains committed to ensuring that all decisions made comply with guidelines and serve the best interests of depositors,” the statement said.
When winding up the debate on the 13th Malaysia Plan motion in the Dewan Rakyat on Aug 18, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) Na’im Mokhtar said the consultancy fees for TH’s branding project were RM5.9 million for three years.
