Perikatan Nasional politicians have drubbed the DAP congress on Sunday as “political theatre” after delegates voted for the party to stay in government.
ADSWawasan Negara vice-president Wan Saiful Wan Jan said there was no need for 14 delegates to debate the motion, as the outcome was already predictable.
Wawasan Negara vice-president Wan Saiful Wan Jan Both Wan Saiful and PAS information chief Ahmad Fadhli Shaari remarked that DAP will eventually exit the government after being kicked out by the people.
Tabung Haji is reviewing its assets in the UK, including measures to boost their performance, as well as timing and options for exits that could benefit the fund.
Among the assets being reviewed is Great Minster House, which it bought in July 2022 for RM1.3 billion.
The property is being leased to the UK’s Transport Department until 2033, which was supposed to grant the fund a long-term income stream.
However, Tabung Haji chairperson Abdul Rashid Hussain told The Edge in July that the purchase was ill-timed as rising interest rates ate into yields and property values. - Mkini
