Selangor police chief Shazeli Kahar says the suspects were arrested between Sept 4 and 7 following leads from the public.

Selangor police chief Shazeli Kahar said the suspects, all locals in their 20s and 40s, were arrested between Sept 4 and 7 following leads from the public after police released their photographs last Friday.
“For the case, investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code (for murder), read with Section 149, we have received instructions to charge the three suspects arrested recently, while the remaining four wanted suspects are still being hunted,” he was quoted by Bernama as saying at the Selangor police headquarters.
In the Aug 25 incident in Taman Alam Megah, a 23-year-old man was slashed before being hit by a car, resulting in his death. Eight men, including two brothers, were charged with murder on Sept 4.
On Sept 7, Shazeli said police were hunting for seven more suspects. He previously said the brawl was believed to have stemmed from a turf war between two gangs. - FMT
