Rubayyi Razali, 27, a second-year biodiversity student, and the 49-year-old fish pond owner were found by Rubayyi's husband when he went to fetch her.

The student, Rubayyi Razali, 27, and the pond owner, Wan Adilah Wan Awang, 49, were found unconscious by Rubayyi’s husband, Wan Muhammad Naim Wan Hussin, 28, when he went to fetch her at 1pm.
“I immediately sought the help of breeders nearby,” he said. “I think they both might have been electrocuted as there was an electrical wire near the area and flowing pipe water.”
He said his wife was in her second-year of a biodiversity degree course at Universiti Teknologi Mara in Jengka, Pahang, and had been doing practical training at the pond since Aug 10. She was expected to finish on Oct 2.
Wan Naim said they have two sons, one aged two years, and the other four months old.
Besut police chief Rozaime Ab Rahim said the two women were pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of death is being investigated, he said. - FMT
