The former Merlimau assemblyman demands that the netizen issue a public apology or face a lawsuit.

Akmal demanded that the netizen, who uses the account name Shafii Halid, issue a public apology within two hours of his (Akmal’s) Facebook post being published.
“There is nothing wrong with having differing opinions, but making accusations and demeaning assistance provided to the people is unacceptable.
“If there is no apology, I will see you in court,” said Akmal, who published his Facebook post at 10.46pm.
Akmal, who is Umno Youth chief, also shared screenshots of the netizen’s Facebook profile and his remarks in the comment section.
Akmal also replied to Shafii’s comment, saying the accusation was defamatory and that he had saved Shafii’s details. - FMT
