Flash floods cause gridlock on MRR2

PETALING JAYA: Flash floods have caused a massive traffic jam along the Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2).
According to Astro Radio Traffic, flash floods in Bandar Tasik Selatan caused a two-hour traffic delay for vehicles heading towards Zoo Negara, while vehicles heading towards the Kesas Highway are also experiencing traffic congestion.
"As an alternative, (road users) can use Besraya, Kuala Lumpur- Seremban or MEX highway," it tweeted on Thursday (March 5).
The tweet included several pictures of the traffic and flash floods on MRR2.
Meanwhile, Star Radio Traffic on its Twitter account (@mytraffic) confirmed that MRR2 is backed up after Sri Petaling and Taman Connaught, and from Beverly Heights until Ampang Hilir.
At 7pm, it tweeted to expect delays in MRR2 after Kepong Metropolitan Lake Park.
