Child actor's abuse: Cops have called in witnesses

 

The police have recorded statements from four individuals concerning a child actor's abuse claims against her father.

In a statement today, Subang Jaya district police chief Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said statements had been recorded from the victim, the victim's mother, a medical officer and an individual involved in the Bros Gang YouTube channel.

Wan Azlan said the investigation papers would be completed soon and submitted to the prosecutors.

A child actor had told the Bros Gang in an interview last week that she was repeatedly sexually abused by her father.

Following this, Islamic Affairs Minister Idris Ahmad weighed in on the matter by suggesting that the child actor should not have made the abuse public.

According to Wan Azlan's previous statement, the child actor claimed that the abuse took place between 2013 and 2017 - when she was as young as six years old.

The complainant alleged that the abuse took place in her mother's absence. - Mkini
