COVID-19 | The Health Ministry said 1,483 new daily Covid-19 cases were reported yesterday, bringing the total cumulative cases to 4,805,107.
Active cases stood at 26,339, down 16.6 percent compared to 14 days ago.
New cases according to states are as follows:

Another three deaths attributed to Covid-19 were reported yesterday, of which one was declared as "brought in dead".
Of the three deaths, two were reported in Johor and one in Terengganu.
Over the past week, an average of 5.0 people were reported to have died of Covid-19, while the average for the past 30 days was 7.0, indicating that Covid-19 deaths are on a downtrend.
Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, a total of 36,280 deaths have been attributed to Covid-19.
There are 1,241 Covid-19 patients hospitalised of which 68 are in intensive care.
The highest number of admissions yesterday was recorded in Selangor (77) followed by Sabah (68) and Johor (54). - Mkini
