PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob has appointed former chief justice Mohamed Raus Sharif to the Judicial Appointments Commission.
Former Sarawak attorney-general Abdul Razak Tready and Universiti Islam Antarabangsa law lecturer Shamrahayu Ab Aziz were also appointed to the commission.
The commission said they replace former judges Prasad Sandosham Abraham and Stephen Hung, and Universiti Malaya law lecturer Johan Shamsuddin Sabaruddin, whose appointments ended on Sept 3.
Former Federal Court judge Suryadi Halim Omar was reappointed to the commission.
The new appointments are for a two-year term. - FMT
