Kota Bharu City Council (MPKB) did help out Bachok MP Nik Mohamad Abduh Nik Abdul Aziz during the wedding of his children yesterday.
This was revealed by Nik Abduh himself on a Facebook page today.
"MPKB, as usual, prepared additional rubbish bins to make it easier to manage waste," he said.
When Malaysiakini reached out to MPKB yesterday, they confirmed that they received Nik Abduh's written request, but did not confirm if they will comply.
Nik Abduh's letter to MPKB has been making rounds of late.
Apart from waste management, he also asked for the council's help in providing tables, chairs and flower decorations.
In his post, Nik Abduh thanked the MPKB, as well as the police and Works Department for helping smoothen the traffic flow during the function.
The function was held at the car park that served Masjid Tok Guru and Sekolah Menengah Agama (Arab) Darul Anuar in Pulau Melaka, Kelantan.
Among others who attended were Kelantan Menteri Besar Ahmad Yakob, his deputy Mohd Amar Abdullah and Kelantan assembly speaker Abdullah Ya'kub.
Many top PAS leaders were present, but not the party president Abdul Hadi Awang.
Also present were Umno figures, including Ahmad Jazlan Yaakob.
Nik Abduh thanked former Kelantan Amanah leader Wan Rahim Wan Abdullah and the Amanah contingent for attending the event. - Mkini
