SHAH ALAM: An officer of a local university has been detained by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission over claims amounting to RM330,000 for an education project.
She is suspected of having used forged documents to submit the claims between 2018 and last year.
The 40-year-old woman was arrested at about 4pm today after giving her statement at the Selangor MACC office here, according to a source.
Selangor MACC director Alias Salim confirmed the arrest and said a remand order would be sought at the magistrates’ court tomorrow. - FMT
