In a slap in the face to Umno Youth and e-services firm MyEG, PKR leaders Chang Lih Kang and Siti Aishah Shaik Ismail have not only refused to apologize or retract their statements but asked them to "sue now".
"We stand by our previous statement and in fact have new documents to proof our case that this is a scam," Siti Aishah, the head of PKR women's youth division, told a press conference on Monday.
Siti Aishah and party-mate Chang Lih Kang, the assemblyman for Teja, had exposed what they alleged was a get-rich-scheme hidden in Prime Minister Najib Razak's BL1M programme.
Launched by Najib on January 31, the BL1M programme is a collaboration between Umno Youth and MYEG Services. This programme is for youths who want to obtain Class B2 motorcycle licence with the test fee reduced from RM261 to RM199.
