Umno cybertroopers come under PKR fire

A PKR MP slams Umno bloggers for using the Sulu invasion to incite hatred towards Pakatan leaders.

PETALING JAYA: A PKR MP today accused Umno cybertroopers of using the Lahad Datu incident to incite hatred towards Pakatan Rakyat leaders.

Batu MP Tian Chua said this in response to several pro-Barisan Nasional blogs he claimed to have published “false reports” about him.

“The pro-BN blogs have published false reports that I have insulted our armed forces with the term ‘suicide commandos’ during a talk in Puchong yesterday,” he said.

Chua dismissed this as “entirely untrue”, explaining he was not in Puchong yesterday and had “never given a speech that had insulted our armed forces”.

“Actually, I was in Johor and in my speech, I had pledged my faith and support in members of our security force,” he added.

Tian Chua named the pro-BN blogs as Mymassa, Talk With Hand, Aloqlaloq and Papagomo.

He claimed the blog authors had even urged their readers to send angry text messages and make protest calls to him.

Various groups has also lodged police reports against Tian Chua.

Tian Chua added that legal action will be taken against those who “create slander and intend to harm me”.

“I urge the public not to believe in this dangerous propaganda,” he said.

“The people have to unite now and pledge support to our armed forces and not use cheap politics to defame the opposition.”
