Gates not locked when assembly building trespassed

Penang state opposition claims that the gates were open on the day of the fracas.
Penang Dun Protest (8)GEORGE TOWN: An opposition elected representative has questioned the security checks during the Penang State Assembly sitting last Wednesday when a group of youths broke into the state assembly building.
Shah Headan Ayoob Hussain Shah (BN-Teluk Bahang) said the front gates of the building were normally locked and no one could trespass into the building.
“The gates are normally locked but on the day of the incident, why were they not locked, thus enabling the youths to enter the building?
“The security crew should have obtained early information and been ready to control the situation,” he said when interjecting the winding-up of the motion of thanks to the Penang Yang Dipertua Negeri Tun Abdul Rahman Abbas by Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng (DAP-Air Putih) at the State Assembly sitting here today.
Shah Headan expressed disappointment with the incident which occurred after an outburst by RSN Rayer (DAP-Seri Delima) who used a curse word when debating the motion of thanks at the State Assembly sitting on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Lim in his reply, said a special committee would be formed to conduct an investigation into the matter.
