Those accusing Ikatan Musliman Malaysia (Isma) of being racists and extremists are engaging in a psychological attack to "silence" the NGO and Malays who are fighting for their rights, Isma claimed today.
In an open letter to all Malay Muslims, its president Abdullah Zaik Abdul Rahman warned them of a "Jewish" and "Zionist" agenda to undermine Islam's position in the country.
The enemies are trying to weaken the resolve of Malay Muslims to fight for their own rights, Abdullah Zaik (right) said.
"Defending the sovereignty of our race and religion thus become a religious obligation, a responsibility to our dignity, and a natural right that must be admitted to by all.
"Accusations that we are racists, extremists, are a psychological attack to ensure that we do not rise to defend our rights," he said.
If Malay Muslims remained "hesitant" about acting on these attacks, Abdullah Zaik added, their land would "slip away" from their hands.
Zionist proxies
Abdullah Zaik said that the country is currently "under siege" from several parties who are acting as proxies for "Jews, Zionists, and Evangelists."
He also asked Malays not to be taken in by slogans espoused by these parties, like those promising "equality, freedom, and human rights."
"When Muslims take their bait, the Jews through their proxies will strengthen their position and dominate every corridor of power here," he said.
He said that these parties will then be defended by "liberal" Muslims, whom he described as individuals who have been manipulated by the Jews.
The "liberal" Muslims, he added are ready to champion the "enemy's agenda" under the name of tolerance and racial harmony.
"When that happens, everything they own will no longer be theirs. By the time they realise, tears of regret will be meaningless," he added.
